Colours Mood Board Analysis

Colours Mood Board Analysis
After getting the results back from my questionnaire, I found out that the most requested colour that my target audience wanted to see on my mood board was black and white. I am definitely going to use these colours on in my magazine because they are good contrasting colours that will work well to use for text on the front cover, the contents page and the feature article. Another colour that was requested was grey, I feel that grey will make a change from white and even light grey tones will change my magazine cover to make it stand out against other competing magazines. On my colours mood board I have included different shades of black, white and grey. This helps me to choose the best shades of colour to use. Red, green, blue and yellow were chosen as the brighter colours that my target audience want to see, I feel that my front cover will need some vibrancy and therefore I am likely to use red, yellow and blue. I want my cover to be dynamic and therefore these bright colours will help that, however I want to keep some subtlety to it and therefore I can still use the neutral colours such as black, white and grey. In my feature article I intend to use a black font with a white background, among the images that I will use, this will keep my feature article spacious and not be overloading to the readers eye. On my front cover, I feel that the cover lines should be in either black or white to ensure that they stand out and are easy to read.
